Creating Public/Private Partnerships

When schools become disconnected from the resources of their communities, how can schools and school systems, arts organizations, and universities create:

  • Effective, sustainable partnerships
  • Meaningful professional learning communities
  • Dynamic in-school/after-school connections

Resources that may be helpful in understanding the role of arts education:

  • Learning Partnerships: Improving Learning in Schools with Arts Partners in the Community
  • Creating Connections (Milwaukee Public Radio interview)
  • Arts After School (WFMT Chicago radio interview)
  • Rules for Arts Ed Radicals
  • Running Strong After All These Years

To learn more about how your organization can create public/private partnerships, please contact Arnold Aprill at 312.870.6140 ext.141 or via email.

CAPE Consults receives rave reviews from Universities

“Many Thanks to you for a wonderful professional development series. My students, colleagues, community partners and I were so inspired and energized by our exploration with you. We all became better teachers and students for having participated. You empowered all of us to approach arts integration with new tools, new confidence and new partnerships. Your visit activated future collaborations in arts integration across our campus and community.”
